From today i start documenting my project SIM424 and NEXT NAV.
That the name indicate is to crate an new database format for the flight sim community and at the same time Documenting the
different navigation and communication systems systems from the common NDB, VOR, ILS/IGS, DME and TACAN to the more exotic systems as the TLS, MLS to the hysteric navigation systems as GEE (ww2 UK), LORAN, OMEGA to the next gen systems as Navstar GPS/GLONASS/Galileo, WAAS, LAAS, GBAS/GLS.
There is also plans to document the different types of communication for Morse code, voice communication and data communication as ACRAS, ADS-B.
There is also SATCOM (satellite communication) but this mostly due to proprietary formats that i have not access to.
This is not mean that i don’t explain to how the basic workings of SATCOM.
